8.6.1. Reservoir Buffer Standards

A. A reservoir bufferClosed A portion of property designated to mitigate impacts between land uses or transportation routes, or to protect water features from pollutants. shall be maintained from the normal pool of each water supply reservoir as shown in the table below, except that the bufferClosed A portion of property designated to mitigate impacts between land uses or transportation routes, or to protect water features from pollutants. requirement of this section shall not apply to land that does not naturally drain to that reservoir. B. Reservoir buffers shall remain in natural undisturbed vegetation, except for intrusions allowed pursuant to Sec. 8.5, Riparian Buffer Protection Standards.

8.6.2. Buffer Reductions

A. At the request of a property ownerClosed Any person having charge of any real property according to the records held by the Register of Deeds., the governing body may reduce the reservoir bufferClosed A portion of property designated to mitigate impacts between land uses or transportation routes, or to protect water features from pollutants. requirements through the issuance of a Major Special UseClosed The purpose for which a building, structure, or area of land may be arranged or occupied or the activity conducted or proposed in a building, structure, or on an area of land. Permit, pursuant to Sec. 3.9, Special Use Permit, whenever it determines that:

1. B.
